We are limited as to our resources - time, energy, money. If there is no way to prioritize among the many goods we can pursue, we will be torn by short-term and subjective considerations.

Our Supreme Purpose and Our Existence
The supreme purpose is single and expansive, definite and intensive. It definitely claims and intensively rules all existence - head, heart, and hands, even the loins and feet.
